Founding member Scott P. Sigman leads the firm’s Litigation Group, as well as the White-Collar Criminal Defense / Criminal Litigation Group, both of which provide aggressive, high quality criminal and civil representation in State and Federal Court.  Some of the matters handled by the Litigation Group involve catastrophic injuries, election law, defamation, fraud and civil RICO. The White-Collar Criminal Defense / Criminal Litigation Group handles matters involving misdemeanor and felony arrests, mail and wire fraud, embezzlement, drug trafficking, drug forfeiture and white-collar criminal defense. Mr. Sigman litigates these matters in state and federal Courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and courts throughout the United States (including New York, Ohio and California).

Founding member Richard A. Rochlin leads the firm's Business and Entertainment Group. It also represents television/radio personalities and stand-up comics in a wide variety of endeavors.  The Business and Entertainment Group's mission is to provide sophisticated and responsive representation across many spectrums. Mr. Rochlin has closed transactions originating in Europe, the Middle East and throughout the United States.

Member Richard H. Agins leads the firm's Default, Workout and Bankruptcy Practice Group, guiding corporations and individuals through Chapter 7, 11 and 13 proceedings in federal Bankruptcy Courts, negotiating out-of-court debt restructurings and settlement arrangements, and representing clients in foreclosure proceedings.  He collaborates with Mr. Rochlin on finance engagements and engages in commercial litigation in state and federal courts in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania. Member Wally Zimolong leads the firm's Commercial Litigation Group which represents individuals, small businesses, contractors, unions, and companies in a wide variety of litigation involving breach of contract, including failing to repay a loan, destruction or secreting of collateral, failing to honor a contract, failing to properly construct improvements to land, etc.  He collaborates with Mr. Sigman on litigation matters.

Sigman & Rochlin, LLC was founded in 2009 by Scott P. Sigman and Richard A. Rochlin.

Mr. Sigman earned his law degree from Temple University, where he also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. Sigman was selected as a "Pennsylvania Rising Star Super Lawyer" for 2005 through 2008 by Philadelphia Magazine and as a 2006 Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer.  Prior to founding Sigman & Rochlin, LLC, Mr. Sigman was an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and an attorney with the litigation firm of Bochetto & Lentz, P.C. While serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Sigman brought the first Weapons of Mass Destruction prosecution in Pennsylvania following the tragedies of September 11th.

Mr. Rochlin earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law where he served as the Managing Editor of the Connecticut Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board.  Mr. Rochlin began his career with Bingham McCutchen LLP and later became affiliated with Dechert LLP. Subsequent to Dechert LLP, Mr. Rochlin was a partner with Shipman & Goodwin LLP.

Richard Agins joined the firm shortly after its founding.  He is a CPA, holds an MBA, and earned his law degree from Pace University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Pace Law Review, and was voted the recipient of the Adolph Homberger Humanitarian Award by his classmates.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Agins was a management consultant, a business owner, and was an attorney with the Financial Restructuring Group at Bingham McCutchen LLP.

Wally Zimolong also joined the firm shortly after its founding.  He earned his law degree from Villanova University, where he served on the Moot Court Board.  Currently, Wally represents regional and Fortune 500 developers in acquisition of properties, leasing issues, and in the creation of condominium/planned community documents, as well as acting as outside corporate counsel to a foreign currency hedge fund and a regional housing developer.

Sigman & Rochlin also serves as local and referral counsel for a variety of out-of-state law firms.  By founding their own law firm, Sigman and Rochlin bring their trademark intensity to their clients on a more committed, personal level. The Sigman & Rochlin, LLC attorneys are focused on achieving their clients' objectives, while continuing to exceed client expectations.
